Welcome to Starbase 332
Welcome to Starbase 332, also known as Cerberus Station, a Starfleet Corps of Engineers Research and Development facility. Located in the uninhabited Aeobur system near the Orion Nebula this advanced research installation is no ordinary port of call, for only those who know its location come to visit and only the brave come to stay.
Starbase 332 is a proud member of Bravo Fleet's Task Force 86 in an area of space where Klingons, Romulans and many others share borders, some of which are still closely contested.

In light of the recent time constraints, internet issues and general lack of activity from most of the crew, myself included, I have decided to place Cerberus on hiatus for the time being, this will mean the sim is no longer an active simulation as per the Bravo Fleet By-Laws and minimum posting requirements are hereby waived. As many of you know I am currently in the process of leaving my job and moving to a new city for University a result of which is less free time in general. My current plan is to request a 2 month Extended Leave of Absence and revisit the sim at that time to see if I have time to get it up and running again at that point. Putting a sim on hold is never an easy things, neither is closing one, something I've rarely ever had to do and I appreciate that from a player perspective you may wish to continue writing with your character, if so I will offer any assistance I can to help get your character relocated.
Many thanks to everyone who has participated in Cerberus Station's storyline, sadly it's not been the journey I planned but life itself doesn't always go to plan either.

Well after only very minor recruitment on my part and a very shiny new skin on site, it is my pleasure to announce the arrival of a new Chief Science Officer, Lieutenant Léon Richard played by AJ, I'm sure you'll agree that having a Frenchman with us is a fantastic addition, I mean it worked for TNG ;-)
At present I'm going to close the sim to new applications as the number of new players in the last few weeks with the addition of the players transferring over from Striker means there is a lot of bedding in to be done, my plan is to allow a few more days for people to work on posts that are in the pipeline before getting the mission under way at the start of next week.

Hi starting tomorrow I might not have internet so if I suddenly vanish that's why. (If I do have internet tomorrow I'll definitely come back and say so first thing, so you should know by tomorrow night.) If I don't show up the day after tomorrow can you please put me on LOA? My internet problems are usually fixed within the month if that's the case. Hopefully it won't, but it might so I just wanted to give a heads up.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Steven aka Lt. Stevenson for his fantastic efforts in making the new skin for Cerberus, I think you'll all agree that it looks amazing! If you can't see it go to the Operations tab then select User->Site Options then change Skin from Titan to Cerberus.
On a side note there is an issue with uploading PNG files, Ed has had a look but the issue isn't anything obvious so he will need to do some digging when he's got some time, my apologies if this causes any issues and my only recommendation for now is to upload images as JPEG's which seem to be fine.

Well after an exciting few days for me in real life as I completed my college course I have also found out that Task Force 86 is to reopen and will be headed by our very own Lt. Commander Auster, that's right, Ed will be moving from TF93 to take up command of 86 again and in the process I have asked, and been granted, permission to move the sim back to TF86.
What does this mean for you all, well the stories we have planned using the Tholians, Orions and Klingons now fit a bit better with our Task Force Area of Operations (AoO), so in short it just makes the out of character side of things make sense and in character we can just keep going as we have been.
The mission proper will be starting over the next week or so as I get things updated on the site and get some posts going. In the meantime we'll have some Klingon visitors to interact with and lots of new faces to meet so why not get some casual encounters started, doesn't have to be massively in depth even just a drink in the bar, Flux, or a quick coffee over a duty roster, I'm keen to see people interacting more outside of the general storyline to build your characters.
As always my inbox is open for questions and comments

The sounds of a space station are different from those of a starship plodding through space. On the one hand it was much more calming, on the other hand the activity of personnel was more agitated. But this morning things were quiet, Erienne observed. She'd stepped out of the quarters…

There were nearly as many security guards posted around the square room as their were high-ranking starfleet officers sat behind the table. A single, slightly less highly ranked officer stood in silence as one of the admirals began to talk.
"And now onto the matter of Ti Anjar. The Bajoran…

Nothing could beat a workout for purging the body of restless energy. It was long into the night and with a mixture of strange surroundings and a thousand questions Kristina Mason could not sleep.
Instead she'd dressed in simple slacks and located the stations gymnasium preferring that over a holo…

The bar was quiet, which was unusual for the end of a workday, but Wren had seen to it that most of the loiterers had gone off. It wasn't that he didn't welcome the company, but he was sure Tybalt wouldn't appreciate a bunch of stone drunks lining the bar…

With a sigh Erienne dropped an armful of padds, packages and some fruit on the sofa. Time to relax, she thought. Not much time, but some. She looked at the station's time output on a small display on the table. Just under 2 hours before dinner. A smile broadened into…
